Q2, Mid Missouri Tech Center agreement brings up-market functions to community banks AUSTIN, TX, Aug 24, 2007 – IT services provider Mid Missouri Tech Center has reached an agreement with banking software designer Q2 Software, Inc. to jointly provide community banks with secure, feature-rich online, voice and mobile banking solutions at a level generally found only at the nation’s mega-banks. “This agreement allows us to bring to community banks the service-oriented tools they need to put them on a competitive footing with larger, multi-state banks”, says Mike Neale, President and CEO of Springfield based Mid Missouri Tech Center. “The Q2 product represents a breakthrough for community banking and offers a highly secure, comprehensive and user-friendly electronic banking software available to the community bank today – and does so very economically.” While advanced software offerings to small banks have lagged behind those of larger institutions, Austin, Texas based Q2 has succeeded in making this technology available to the community banking market. Increasingly, banking customers are demanding the advantages available through today’s remote technology applications, such as Retail and Commercial Internet Banking, with integrated Mobile and Voice Banking. Bigger banks have been able to fuel their growth in part by investing large sums in software programs that make available these electronic services. Mid Missouri Tech Center, through their agreement with Q2, now makes it economically viable for community banks to offer these high demand services and thus more effectively compete with the mega banks. Hank Seale, CEO and founder of Q2 Software says, “Mid-Missouri Tech Center is a great example of the forward thinking companies that our organization has been attracting over the past couple years. We share the common vision to deliver a consistent user experience via an integrated online, voice and mobile strategy. Our corporate vision depends on these types of banks and we are thankful to have Mid-Missouri Tech Center as a partner for many years to come.” For further information, please contact Mid Missouri Tech Center at 417-890-7208 or email to solutions@midmotechcenter.com (Released by Mid Missouri Tech)
