Jonathan Price is a fourteen-year investment banking veteran, who specializes in uncovering investment opportunities in the financial software space.
Jonathan was previously in the Technology & Business Services Investment Banking group at BMO Capital Markets, where he advised Vertical Software and Financial Technology companies on strategic opportunities and funding alternatives.
Prior to BMO, Jonathan spent time between Goldman Sachs and Citi. He holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Outside of the office, Jonathan spends his time with his young family and is an avid sports fan, enjoying hockey, rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and golfing as often as he can.
As Senior Vice President of Customer Success, John Peck is responsible for leading the Q2 Customer Support and Client Experience Management teams. These teams are the client advocates within Q2 and own the operational client experience including technical support, training and best practice sharing.
Prior to joining Q2, John served in numerous roles focused on execution and operational excellence. Most recently, he was CFO of Affiniscape, leading the organization through rapid growth prior to its acquisition by YourMembership. Prior to that John worked in a number of consulting roles working with Fortune 500 companies focused on operational and process improvement and optimization.
John received his MPA and BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
Tim Schnell, Centrix Solutions co-founder, is responsible for day-to-day company operations, defining strategic policy and direction and managing major customer partnerships. In leading Centrix Solutions, Mr. Schnell leverages his broad experience in the information technology industry, in which he has held senior positions within companies that include Fiserv and CubeSoft. Prior to forming Centrix Solutions, he was a technology consultant focusing on systems integration projects that encompassed client server, Internet and legacy architectures. In addition, he has substantial expertise in the evaluation, development, and implementation of integrated software solutions.
Travis Arthur is a data-driven 20-year B2B software, marketing and sales veteran with a keen eye for marketing execution and sales integration. As head of marketing at Q2, Travis is focused on driving increased demand, lead generation and overall revenue growth. Travis was previously a vice president of marketing at Rackspace, where he focused on outbound marketing programs and market analytics to increase sales.
Prior to Rackspace, Travis was vice president of national and partner accounts at ReachLocal, where he was responsible for building the company’s customer base and designing and executing go-to-market strategies via multiple sales channels. He also held various enterprise sales and marketing positions at Dell as well as merger and acquisition integration across the company.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
With more than 30 years of experience as a market leader, building strategic partnerships with financial institution CEO’s driving revenue and growth, Chris Petersen brings a wealth of knowledge and connections in financial services, technology and sales to overseeing all sales and relationship management at Q2.
As an executive at FIS and several of its subsidiaries for 18 years in a variety of roles, she most notably led as a 10-year senior vice president of client management and business development for global sales. Her experience, industry relationships and expertise complement Q2’s trajectory and vision and will help current and future Q2 clients realize new strategic growth opportunities.
Petersen began her career in financial technology sales for community banks and credit unions, and has expanded to exceptional performance in all areas of sales and client management for various emerging and groundbreaking technology solutions.
Chris earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management information systems from the University of South Florida.
As Q2’s Vice President of Sales, Tom is responsible for counseling financial institutions seeking a long-term digital banking strategy and leading Q2’s team of sales strategists.
Tom has more than 20 years of experience working exclusively with financial institutions. Throughout his well-rounded fintech career, he has been successful in helping a variety of innovative web and mobile solutions provide value to financial institutions and their customers. Tom has served in executive positions at Bottomline Technologies, D3 Banking, Andera, and ACI Worldwide.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Providence College.
Kim is an HR veteran with a broad range of experience in her 20-year career. At Q2, she serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, where she leads the people strategy, focused on growing its mission-driven team.
Kim’s HR experience spans across an array of industries, geographies and company scales where she built her specialization in creating, building, and restructuring organizations through intense business change and growth. Most recently Kim was the Vice President of Human Resources and Talent at SunPower Corporation. Prior to that, she held leadership roles in human resources and talent acquisition at companies including Dell, The Home Depot, and AutoTrader.com.
Outside of the office, Kim and her husband Lee have two daughters and are avid college football fans. Kim is a graduate of Texas Tech University.
As SVP, Bill is responsible for all aspects of software research, development, quality, and release management at Q2. Partnering with Q2’s CTO, Bill’s team brings technological innovation to Q2’s customers and partners.
Bill has 21 years of industry experience spanning development, professional services, and product management. Prior to joining Q2, his roles included software test, development and management positions at Tivoli and BroadJump. He served as Sr. director of development as well as Sr. director of product management at Motive. At 2Wire, Bill was VP of software development and professional services heading up teams in India, Eastern Europe, UK, Cost Rica, California, Arizona and Texas. Most recently Bill held an executive position at Cisco running the Internet of Things (IoT) Platform initiative in the Emerging Technologies Group.
Bill received a Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University.
As Chief Security Officer, Bob is responsible for all audit, risk, and compliance activities – as well as overseeing the delivery and execution of Q2’s overall information security strategy. He specializes in risk management and assessment, compliance and regulatory management, product development, disaster recovery, and incident response.
Bob’s experience in financial services industry spans 35 years, including 20 years in leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has maintained a consistent record of exceeding goals and driving productivity in high-growth environments. Prior to joining Q2, Bob was Executive Vice President of Client Operations at Continuity and Head of Audit Risk & Compliance at Fiserv. He is also a polished speaker, providing keynote presentations to over 4,000 participants at Fiserv Forum and Continuity’s 1st annual client conference.
Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
As President, Odus is responsible for all operational functions at Q2, ensuring the delivery of products and services, and overseeing the execution of sales, marketing, product, development, and operations initiatives.
Odus brings more than 20 years of experience as an enterprise-level organizational leader to Q2. Prior to accepting the role of Q2’s President, Odus served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Cloud Office and Mailgun business units for Rackspace; before that he led their Americas Business Unit, and was responsible for sales and service delivery for the Rackspace Hybrid Cloud portfolio in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. During his Tenure at Rackspace, he oversaw its growth from a fifty-million-dollar company to a business valued at two billion dollars.
Odus holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Texas A&M University as well as an MBA from Harvard University.
Matt is a visionary leader known by employees and customers alike for his authentic, engaging, and quick-witted communications style. Matt appreciates meeting directly with customers and prospects while utilizing his inquisitive nature to uncover new and innovative ways for Q2 to improve their business and create growth.
Matt currently serves as CEO of Q2. From 2012 to 2016, he held the dual roles of President and CEO. Before this he was responsible for sales, marketing, and business development for both Q2 and the previous holding company, CBG Holdings, Inc.
During his tenure at Q2, he’s been a significant contributor to the growth and strategic direction of the organization. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including sales and banking operations, Matt is intensely determined to help regional and community-focused financial institutions compete with the Mega and money center banks. He is a recipient of the esteemed EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in the Central Texas region and was an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year National finalist.
Matt received his degree from Baylor University and is currently a member of the Dell Childrens Hospital Board of Trustees.
Coy brings immense product knowledge and experience in the fintech space to his role as Q2’s Senior Vice President of Product, where he oversees all product initiatives and strategy.
Coy has more than 15 years’ experience in the financial services software industry, with a focus on enabling U.S. community and regional financial institutions to compete with their larger bank and money-center counterparts. Prior to being named SVP of Product, Coy directly oversaw the Business Banking and Corporate Banking product lines at Q2, effectively piloting the corporate banking portfolio from its infancy to a mature solution in a highly competitive marketplace. In his time leading the Business Banking and Corporate Banking product lines, Coy was also a key contributor in establishing Q2’s unique user experience-driven digital banking strategy, helping the organization embrace the importance of product design.
Prior to beginning his professional career, Coy received his Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Texas at Austin, with a minor in Business Foundation.
As Chief Compliance Officer, Suzette Junier provides leadership and guidance related to regulatory compliance and product direction. She brings Q2 more than 25 years of operational banking and regulatory compliance experience within community banking.
Prior to joining Q2, Suzette was Senior Vice President of North Bay and The Vintage Bank where she was responsible for Information Technology, Bank Operations and Electronic Banking. Before joining North Bay and The Vintage Bank, she was Vice President with SierraWest Bank and Vice President of Information Services and Operations Administrator for Continental Pacific Bank. Prior to that, Suzette held several management positions with Fremont Bank. Most recently she held the position of Strategic Services Manager with FiServ/ITI where she provided strategic services consulting to C-level executives utilizing the ITI core solution.
Suzette is also a member of Western Independent Bankers (WIB), Western States User Group (WSUG) and a graduate of the BAI Graduate School of Operations and Technology.
Paul Walker is the General Manager of Q2 Open, a business unit within Q2 Holdings focused on delivering next-generation financial services offerings leveraging open API technology. He is responsible for working with thought leaders in financial services and driving emerging technology into the market.
Walker has worked for Q2 since shortly after its inception, joining the company in 2007 and serving in several leadership positions. He was with the company during its successful March 2014 IPO on the New York Stock Exchange and has led the acquisitions of Lincoln, Nebraska-based Centrix Solutions, Des Moines, Iowa-based Social Money and Austin, Texas-based Unbill.
Paul graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Will brings his passion and insight to the role of Q2’s Chief Strategy Officer, where he is responsible for determining forward-looking growth strategies for the company. As CSO, Will also leads Q2 Labs, Q2’s innovation-focused product group.
Will joined Q2 from IF marketing & advertising and brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, product and business development. Serving in the role of President of IF marketing & advertising, he led IF to become a Top 5 Austin area boutique marketing and advertising agency. Will first joined Q2 as the SVP of Marketing, where he was instrumental in rebranding, repositioning and preparing the organization for its successful initial public offering (IPO). After the IPO, Will transitioned into the role of Senior Vice President of Product for Q2, where he led the acquisition of key product and design talent, delivery of innovative products, and establishment of the user-centric product design discipline across the organization.
Prior to founding IF marketing & advertising, Will was Director of Web Technologies for S1 Corporation. He also played quarterback in the National Football League for six seasons. Will holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Virginia Tech where he proudly serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors, and has held positions on the Distinguished Alumni Board for English. In addition to service to his alma mater, Will was recently inducted in the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame (Football 1988-1991).
